What's Halloween Without the Kids?

It’s Key West on October 31st.
Key West, Halloween, Christmas, his dog Cuter, Family and then me, Cutest. That would probably itemize, by importance, Cute’s six favorite things. I’m OK with that.*
But where we were this Halloween, Key West, was pretty much another excuse for grown-ups to party and dress up, or not and just observe – that was me due to a mask failure. The evening rain had stopped and the atmosphere was already festive when we joined the crowds.
Costumes ran the gamut from who are you . . .
. . . to gnomes and Americans and convicts
. . . To lots of pirates, very appropriate for Key West’s historical past. (Use the >)
Cute Frankenstein was much admired and his dog even more so. Cuter served as a conversation instigator to which Frank could only point and grunt, never going off-character.
Skeletons were very popular here, maybe everywhere?
Sexy is always popular but this was a much more covered up holiday than Fantasy Fest, much to Cute’s dismay. He could still point and grunt though.
We did see one very excited child. We gave her a ton of candy, hoping she’d smile and let go of her tablet. She almost did.

So ends another odd but entertaining holiday in a somewhat strange place. Hope yours was as fun.
*Fortunately, when Cute read this, he did not agree with, nor endorse, my priority ranking for him.
